No; It's not just you. I have a 2021 RAV4 Hybrid Limited AWD with the Limited Grade Technology Package. Same problem, same run-around. The only thing I can add is the car was working fine until the Android Play Store pushed out an update to the Toyota app. Then this message started appearing.

I deleted Entune, reinstalled, deleted again and no success.
You should not be using the Entune app any more. The Entune App suite is now accessed through the main Toyota App. Delete the Entune app. Don't reinstall the Entune app, then log into the "Toyota" app, scroll down to the connect your accounts card if you want to activate specific apps.

I found this out yesterday troubleshooting a blank Waze, Google & Apple maps. Internal navigation was my only option.

While troubleshooting, I cleared my data and eventually got this message so I downloaded Entune 3.0 app again. I attempted to pair the app again and it told me about the Toyota app. The message was a bit cryptic but eventually with a bit of testing I found that the Toyota app needed to be running in the background on my phone to 1) keep this message from popping up and 2) ungrey the associated apps such as iHeart radio and others. When I would end the Toyota app on my phone, these apps would grey out again and shortly afterwards the message would pop up again.

So bottom, I ended up fixing/discovering more than I hoped.

Thanks, didn't work for me. No apps show in Connect now, and already paired. Toyota support says I need to disconnect battery for 30 minutes and then re-pair iPhone to car and put in all my preferences again. I think toyota should have this up and running when I purchase the vehicle and not require new owner to go through so much fuss. I guess I need to spend a few hours waiting at Dealer to reset everything again.

Did you try the Delete Personal Data within the Entertainment menu (see attached)? This will delete everything you added and configured. It might bring things back to working order.

By the way, when I bought mine, the sale person at the dealership spend a good 2 hours with me after the purchase setting things up and explaining things. This included the activation of the Entune system.

I did delete personal information, I called toyota support and they tried to help and had me delete the personal data. Just didn't work. My dealership didn't spend much time with me, several minutes. I don't think the salesman understood how the Entune works. I'll bring it back in and see if they have someone that might know something. thanks for help

I have my car for 3 weeks, everytime I press on "Apps" button it shows Authorization, Notifications, and Wifi. No other app listed, I downloaded Entune 3.0 app, setup. Still zero app showing up. Just called Toyota today, and they said for 2020 Rav4, there won't be any Entune App installed. Is that correct? Anyone with 2020 Rav4 has apps showing up?
The entune suite never did work right but now it does not work at all. I have a 2019 Rav4 XSE. Two weeks ago I started getting a download error every time I start the car. I finally took it to the dealer - completely unhelpful - no idea why it was happening. This is one of the worst radios I have ever owned. I like the car, but the radio is CRAP.

Yep, I agree. I got in the car the other day and got everything set up so I could use the app to find gas prices near me. Round and round the wheel spun and when it was finished, all of the apps were greyed out. I had the Toyota app running on the phone and it was connected Bluetooth only and nothing. I ended up using another app on the phone instead.

I thought this was solved about a year ago. Now its back haunting me. it restarted about two weeks ago. gee, they've had old about 4 years to fix it and haven't. Brand loyalty will only go so far then the little things start to ad up.

Been trying off and on for about nine months to get I phone linked to car with entune and several other apps without luck. Deleted all personal data on car, entune and other apps on phone a month ago and it magically started working with Apple Auto Play!

Entune App Suite was dumped for 2020 models, only applies to 4th gen and 2019 5th gen, there's no "Entune" anymore for the multimedia system, the Entune 3.0 phone app isn't even necessary for the 2019 unless you want to use Entune App Suite which doesn't exist on the 2020.

I keep seeing this statement - that Entune is no longer used..
BUT I am getting the Entune download error over and over .. every time I get into my 2021 Rav4.
This issue is found in many other Toyota forums so something is wrong here.

I have no Toyota apps on my phone and the dealer is clueless.
Any help from this forum is appreciated.

yes - mine too. A 2021 Rav4. Anyone who says Toyota has dropped the Entune is not getting the full story.
Had this error a a rarity after purchase - now like you about 2 weeks ago it became every time I started the car.
What is wrong with these developers?

Kinda scary that a company that relies HEAVILY on computer control of the vehicles can't find a coder to shut off the damn download. I put up with it for about 6 months on my 20 Adventure. I sure do not want to have this crap continue.

I think there is some miscommunication. Entune is still in the vehicle but the Entune phone app has been combined with the Toyota phone app. Someone posted that he had to remove the Toyota app from their phone and reinstall it for the vehicle to work properly with the built Entune apps in the vehicle. Also, since you have a 2021 you probably never installed it, but if you do have the Entune phone app installed, uninstall that too.

In the past, there has been download error for the Entune system in the car, but eventually they download and install successfully. I've had mine since Feb 2019 and the unsuccessful download or install messages are frustrating. The interesting part is the interaction with this download and install is not restricted while driving. You can press the on screen buttons while your driving but please don't look at album art, that's too distracting. Ok, I'll digress Toyota.
