What do you guys think about this product?
Does it work with the popular dash speaker upgrades?
Is this a better/low cost/low effort version of a upgrade?
Will this mess up your system in the long run?

Just need some opinions, theres not a lot of reviews out there.

I currently have a 2022 RAV4 Adventure, with just the regular 6 speakers.

45W x 4 max is probably about 22W RMS per channel, which is no better than what the factory non-JBL headunit is likely putting out. Maybe a little cleaner signal.

IMO the biggest improvement you can make to the non-JBL system is to swap out the speakers. If you're running speakers that will be satisfied with as little power as this amp puts out, I don't personally see $270 worth of advantage of 22W RMS per channel from an aftermarket amp vs. the factory headunit. If you're running speakers that will really sing on an amplified signal, you're going to want more than 22W RMS per channel.

I have no personal experience with it, but I would be surprised if a blind test with and without the amplifier installed would produce noticeable results, other than the fact that you can turn the gain up on the amplifier and get more sound level at a given volume setting on the headunit - people are notoriously poor at telling the difference between "louder" and "sounds better".

Your $270 is better spent on aftermarket speakers (starting with the dash speakers), and if you want an amplified setup, any decent speakers are going to perform best with more than 22W per channel.

Greetings everyone, I'm Eric representing Beat-Sonic. Given the overwhelmingly positive responses we've received regarding our amplifier, I have great assurance that it will exceed your expectations. Just chiming in after stumbling upon this post while looking into the Beat-Sonic PA2T3K. I'm currently running the full kicker setup after taking out my oem JBL speakers (21 Hybrid Limited), they sound way better with oem headunit and bit more given I'm now using an aftermarket headunit that can push more power to speakers. Saw this and was curious if I'd see any gain getting it or at this point stay with my setup as its loud enough and I can add extra bass as needed. I'm still curious about the crossover comments on the dash speakers as I've seen it a few times but mine seem okay just plugging in the adaptors that came with the speakers.

If you're satisfied with the volume you're getting out of the headunit and not having to run it at absurd volume levels to get the sound output you want, adding an amplifier to your front soundstage isn't going to do much, especially not one that is the same general power range as the headunit. There's just not much to be gained from taking a 22W RMS signal and amplifying it into a 22W RMS signal. That changes if you're adding signal processing and/or adding an amplifier that produces significantly more output than the stock headunit in order to run less sensitive speakers that need that additional power.

As for crossovers, the frequency filtering at the dash speaker and door speaker looks like it happens inside of the stock speaker itself, past the wiring connector. I'm getting full-range sound out of the dash speaker connectors. That said, I have the non-JBL system in mine, so yours may be different.

Ahh okay thanks for the clarification. Yea I don't have to max the audio to get great sound and I can use bass booster to get a heavier Thump but I'm not looking to shake the car so I'll keep the setup as is.

Hmmm I think I understand, just wondering if I need to also swap my wires for the dash speakers even though it plays to see if it'll make a difference.

I know this is an old thread and you've commented a while ago but would like to know how the Beat Sonic PA2T3K is working out for you?
I'm also planning on upgrading my speakers to Kicker 46CSS674 and 46CSC674 for the front and rear. Are you happy with your decision?
I'm debating going the easy route of getting the Beat Sonic PA2T3K or the Sony XMS400D amp.
However, the Sony seems way to overwhelming for me to install. I have no experience.
