I'm not sure if that's actually removable or not. I think the sealant you see around it is a combination of the windshield's sealant, the sliding glass sealant, and the two roof rack rails on either side.

I have a panoramic roof, and this past summer I had to drop my headliner to tighten all the bolts holding the panoramic roof assembly to the chassis. I can't recall offhand if there were separate bolts for this panel or not, but if there are, you'll find them above the headliner.

 

I too have the pano roof but have no idea how that section is removed.

You could pull down the overhead center console; the one with the lights and pano controls. Once it's down, you will be able to see metal roof where that panel attaches. When I had mine down to swap the bulbs to LEDs, I didn't look around. I do remember that the console provides a large opening where you can take a flashlight to see if there a resigns of fasteners.
