Hybrid Rural Highway Driving

We replaced a 16 CRV with a 20 RAV4 hybrid. Took a weekend tour of mixed mostly rural roads and average fuel economy was 5.7 l/100km for 800km total. CRV would have been around 8 l/100km for same trip. RAV4 is a much nicer vehicle in every way.
