So I picked up my SuperSonic Red RAV4 Prime XSE with Tech Package (Canada) a week or so ago and love it so far.

Maybe I'm being denser than usual, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the instrument cluster. I'm trying to get it to display the Energy Monitor (power flow(?)) and the AWD status, but can't get them to display. The manual says they should be options, but I can't see them.

Any advice or step by step tips?

Thanks

Check out this video:

I have a 2021 so I can't verify, but it looks like the newer digital instrument cluster in 2023(?)+ RAV4s allow you to select which things are available to display in either the left or right circular gauge cluster. The video demonstrates this at 2:51.

If you are in change settings mode, it looks like you can right (or left) arrow through to an options selection screen to check or uncheck which display options will show for either gauge cluster. He may not have a hybrid, so he doesn't have the Energy Monitor option, but this guy does and you can see it at 2:30:

When you’re on this screen press right on the control wheel one more time (press left when in the left cluster).

This should then appear:

Is this menu appearing for you? If it is, then scroll up/down for each open box and click ok to add that widget as a possible selection to view in that cluster. Most widgets are unchecked at first. Once the widget is checked, you will be able to scroll through the widget options back on this selection scroll view.

If that widget selection menu isn’t available, you might want to swing by your dealership and ask for help.

If you’re still in the widget selection screen, you either press left (if in the right cluster) or right (if in the left cluster) which takes you back to the following screen. If left/right doesn’t work, then press the return button (I don’t recall off the top of my head and I’m not in my car to double check).

When you’re on this screen, use the control wheel to click up or down to change the widgets.

If you’re not in one of the clusters, you’ll want to press up on the control wheel, then either left or right to enter the cluster you want to change. That will put you in the cluster widget selection mode in the pic above.

The widgets are circled in red in the attached photo. The widgets are available only on certain screens.

I don't see any way to change what displays in the widget. I think the only options are what is pictured. It automatically displays electric or gas efficiency based on HV or EV mode on the left widget. The right widget is blank here, but displays audio info - just the name of the song playing and I think maybe the audio source.
