Here’s another suggestion for your oil consumption issue: try changing oil brands. I’ve got an Audi Q5 Hybrid which used about a half-quart of oil between changed until I switched to Mobil 1. I’ve had no oil use/loss between changes since.

What does the "High Oil Consumption" fix entail? -never heard of that as a coined procedure
The "fix" is for the dealership to change the engine pistons and piston rings to a newer style with larger oil galleries. My engine was done and it makes a day and night difference in oil consumption and power. Almost no oil consumption now even though the mechanic said the fix is supposed to slow the consumption, not stop it??

My '07 Limited (4 cylinder) had the High Oil Consumption fix done in 2016 - the owner (who bought it new) had it done at the selling dealership then sold the car to me.

The car now has 175,000 miles and uses about 1/2 a quart between changes (essentially nothing, I'd say). I've been running Pennzoil 5w-20 Conventional and decided to give the Pennzoil 5w-20 High Mileage Conventional a try. Can't hurt, right? And it was on sale! ;)

Just wondering if/when that might take care of the 1/2 quart it's using between changes? Or is that asking too much? Thanks!
I read a post from someone who was burning about 1 qt/1000 miles. He switched over to synthetic and the oil consumption went to 0 in about 3-5 oil changes @ 5000 mile intervals. No idea on other details.
