Your mechanic said you're better off mounting the intercooler up front, right? So, are you going to use the same cooler, or get another one?

Myxalplyx, your build is coming along B-E-A-UTIFULLY, and fast! I really like the side mount intercooler as it lets you keep your sleeper status.What kind of tubing is your mechanic using for the intake tubes? Will you still have a somewhat tapered design?

Teksmrt, the stock Manifold/cat combo can honestly handle a lot of ehayst flow. Its the same design is used for the supercharged Toyota Aurion and it makes 60 hp more horsepower. However, there are a lot of restrictions to remove after the first 2 cats. A lot of the Camry guys start by deleting the 3rd cat and resonator. Then there's straight-thru mufflers and bigger piping. Or you can be like Myx and replace everything after the cats and run true dual exhaust.

Wow! Congrats, man! That is really coming along great. That's one GOOD mechanic. I love how close the intercooler is to the throttle body.
