I’m in the middle of installing my Homelink mirror and dash cam. I ran the wires across the headliner down the A pillar and down to the drivers side kick plate. It’s where the manual and everything else I ever read about this car said a fuse box was located.

The wire tracking, mirror installation and dash cam mount went almost too flawlessly.

When I popped off the kick panel where the outing mirror control buttons are expecting to find a fuse box, I found nothing.

No problem, I thought it must be directly underneath the steering wheel. There were two screws which were never mentioned but I figured what the heck I unscrew them and drop down the other piece. Again no fuse box!

Then I thought well just maybe since it’s Japan built it might be located on the passenger side. I undid the panel underneath the glove box but still no fuse box!

Do I really have to run wires through the firewall??

Help!!

I’ve attached some photos Of the underside of both ends of my interior dash.

I’m just glad I discovered this in my driveway rather than on the road somewhere…

Photos attached.

It's there if you look up from carpet. Suggest you put a flash light in a cup to have it pointing up. Very awkward placement.
