P0607 PCM - Excessive Weight

This is a bit of a strange one. I have a 2012 model that I bought new and I have driven 175K kilometers without one single incident ..... until recently. I loaded up the cargo area for a dump run and I had 4X - 30kg (66lb) bags of cement placed at the rear door opening (ie: NOT over the rear axle). Dash lights came on right away when I started to drive (4WD, TCS, engine light) and of course I noticed the odd handling characteristics of the vehicle.
I finished my trip, off-loaded the cargo and when I restarted the engine the lights were all off. I did an OBD scan of past fault codes and identified P0607 PCM malfunction. Perhaps it's coincidental, but would the weight and odd handling characteristics trip up the TCS and set off the PCM? Everything seems fine with the vehicle now.

Unless the error light come back again & again I wouldn't fret about it. I often call the lights run-to-the-dealer-with-CC-in-hand motivators.

Plus 1 for what Dr Dyno says.

A P0607 could be caused by one or more of the following:
Loose ground terminal on PCM/ECM
Dead or defective (12V main) battery
An open or short in the power or ground circuit
Loose or corroded battery terminals
Failed PCM/ECM

I would do a visual check of the harness around the PCM and battery, just to see if anything is obvious. As the symptoms have gone, just bear the above in mind for future
