Today is the first day of Spring :D ... I can't wait for the snow to melt and put on my aftermarket wheels again. If you have aftermarket wheels on your 4.3 RAV4, post some pics! Here is a pic of mine last spring ...

Just got my 2007 RAV4 V6 Limited 4wd back from the shop, some brand new Black Rhino Rumble in Bronze, 17x8 wrapped in 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak AT Trail tires. I love it! I spent so much time obsessing over which tire size to choose, and why? This size is perfect! I’ve got the 2” Northwoods Performance lift as well. What do y’all think?

Your RAV looks great! I've been looking at something similar and now I have to pull the trigger on it! Thanks for the inspiration!

After finally experiencing driving on snow with the Falken A/T Trails they do better than a "regular" all season but still not as good as I'm used to with a dedicated snow tire. Got some studded snows in 235/70/16 on a set of gold BBS RGII's I've had lying around for a hot minute. I'm liking the meaty look of the 16's for the winter and it's nice having such a different wheel than the black Enkei NT03+m's. They are 16x8 so were apparently a bear to get to seat and they look kinda stretched but it's all I had in a 16" in the right bolt pattern. It was 42 out today (-1 on Saturday) so I used the nice weather to also install the OEM Sport wing I found already my color on Ebay.

My new (to me) 2008 V6. I lifted it on Readylift spacer lift.

Lots more approach angle on the 3rd gen bumper but everything is tucked away better on the new one, plus I have the LP Aventure skid plate on the hybrid.
Might try swapping the wheel and tire combo from one to the other, not 100% sure the 16" will clear the 2021 brakes. But 31" tires on the V6 would be nice.

Just committed today. Last fall I picked up a set of 17” Mustang wheels from the 2006-09 Pony package (appearance on V6 models) which are styled like American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels. They are a perfect (lugcentric) fit for the RAV. I’ve also abandoned the seasonal tire changeover and went with All-Weather tires. I chose Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires, size and spec: 244/65-17 111T. Got an extra 1/2” ground clearance, the sidewall is nice and soft to smooth out the craters we call roads here. I went with the AT3 because of the construction site use and being FWD (need all the traction I can get in the soupy dirt/mud/gravel.)

I’m happy with the setup. I definitely notice the torque reduction from the larger diameter, but that’s ok for me. No rubbing, ample clearance to the fender, wells, and control arms. Being FWD, I also don’t need to worry about a matching spare tire, so I’m sticking with my original size, and ai can still use the cover.

I have some mustang wheels and the factory toyota bolts don't work with them. What bolts did you use and many turns can your turn your bolts on the mustang wheels?

I installed some mustang wheels on my 5 bolt toyota S runner. While I can get the wheels on and I drove around with them for a few weeks in the back of my mind I felt like I was not able to turn the bolts enough. Seems like I was only able to rotate the bolts 1/2 as much as the stock lug nuts with the OEM wheels.

I stuck with the Trails in the stock size for weight and because it's a %95 on road vehicle, just some power line access roads and hiking trail heads here and there. Same with the spacers though. The stock offset with the fender flares just looks ridiculous. Lift soon? I did H&R Adventure springs and couldn't be happier. Smaller lift (~1") but higher spring rate and on Bilstein B8's make it drive so much better on and off road.
