I hadn't noticed I typed V4, but I am so glad you understood what I meant! Thank you sooo much for your feedback. You have no idea what a hassle you saved me from. Definitely going with the V6. I am new this forum, I was not expecting such a quick response! Again, thank you! :)
V6 is very peppy and fun to drive. Tons of power for its size. I thoroughly enjoy driving it every day.

Question for you guys as someone who is fairly new to this world:

I'm looking at Method 502 wheels (17x8 +38) with Wildpeak Trail tires (235/65 R17), but the tire/wheel sites like TireRack are saying the Method wheels won't fit my vehicle. I have a 2012 V6 base. What am I missing?

Alright y'all. I've hit the analysis paralysis stage and could really use some second opinions on the following wheels!

For context, this is for a 2012 Base V6 in Black Forest Pearl. I plan to keep my stock size all-season tires for a while since they are fairly new, but am open to a bigger size and/or A/T tires down the road. Part of me feels like the LP1s go better with A/T tires, whereas the others could look good with both. I also think the A/T tire look is a starting to get a little cliché at this point so maybe I should shoot for something a bit less "rally" like the Bully or EDR9?

LP Aventure LP1 (17x7.5 -35mm)

KMC KM708 (17x8 -38mm)

Enkei EDR9 (17x8 -38mm)

@Hans 18 as long as it's the look that you want, that's all that matters. From the picture, the black looks very nice. And it sounds like it wasn't a lot of money. (y)
$60 all in and it is the look I wanted, actually i wanted to get new wheels but this change showed me I didn't need to spend that much to change the look of the car.

New to this forum. Here's my new to me 2011 RAV4 Sport V6 I'm putting together as a light trail build. 16"x8" 0 offset Steel Envy Wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar AT G015's 225/75/16 Using hub centric rings and slight rub on front wheel well at full turn (tires have some meat on them) View attachment 196975 View attachment 196976 View attachment 196977
This is amazing, I have been trying to find this rim to fit my 2010 rav4. i always read that its hard to get a hubcentric ring on a steel. are these a little better at fitting the ring?

That's what I thought, everything I read said not to do this. It looks so amazing but unfortunately there aren't many options like this for the 2008-12' Rav4s. I just ordered steelies for now
I got these installed at a tire shop with hub centric rings as per my post and they work with no issues so far. You just can't use the hub covers with the hub centric rings. Needed to order specific rings from the states though with the odd difference in diameter between the wheel and hub. Hub ring link: Hub Centric Rings ( 60.1 - 83.82) - JustForWheels.com

This is exactly what I'm looking to do with mine. Is there a lift on this? I assume so to fit that wheel/tire combo
