Dealers in Denver are already competing openly on price. One dealer shows $1400 out the door off a Limited and $1200 off an Adventure and that's before clicking the "get out best price" button on their site.

Helpful but more info needed. Were extended warranty, tint, Toyo Platinum and paint protection included in MSRP and the out the door price that you quote? What was the MSRP on the Toyota window sticker? Was there a second sticker from the dealer with the add ons on it? How much of the out the door price was sales tax?

You should have paperwork showing the amount financed. What does that show.

I'm thinking that the dealer was able to give what looks like a $4,000 discount because of profit on the add ons like the extended warranty but maybe it is as good as it looks.
