Rear Wiper 10" or 12"?

I am looking for instructions on how to remove the entire " Arm " from the Liftgate wiper assembly...also has anyone tried cutting a 20" " Generic REFILL " in half ( using a Dremel type tool ) and using for a 10" refill ? thanks
