Hello - I'm new here.. wondering if someone could point me in the right direction... we have a 2009 base model 4WD Rav4 that up until recently had been problem free. Right now it has a P0717 code - is there just one sensor that could be the culprit? if so, where can I find that thing? Also after reading through some threads here I've seen mentioned downloading the wiring diagram for testing purposes, but I can't seem to find it, could someone point me in the direction of that as well? Thanks in advance!

the code is P0717 - Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal. I've seen on other threads that there is a sensor on underneath either the air cleaner or battery.. but that was on a 2WD - mine is 4WD. I did pull the battery and tray, but didn't see one there.
The sensor is mounted on the transmission. You probably have to move stuff to gain access.
I'd suggest determining what model transmission you have and then looking it up on @2011RAV4's share link to see where it is.

it's a 2009 base - 2.5L (4 cylinder) engine with 4WD US model. Thanks for all the help
