This is my new head unit. Binize 7 inch Touchscreen Apple... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088FM8SGF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The manufacturer says it is compatible with analog OEM steering wheel controls.
It has one brown “Key” wire for the SWC.

However, my ‘05 RAV4 has 3 wires for SWC on the third harness.
1. What do those 3 wires correspond to? Blue, Yellow, and Green.
Wiring chart or list would be greatly appreciated :)
2. Can I connect my unit’s “Key” wire to maintain SWC without an interface as the unit claims?

The SWC wiring diagram is shown below. The 3-wire setup is a resistor network that the OEM radio will recognize depending on which button is pressed. For your Binize headunit, I would connect the yellow wire with the ground wire in the harness, and you can try either the blue or light green wire to the "Key" wire to see if it works.

Thanks!
This worked perfectly except one detail.. I had nowhere to connect the blue Key2 wire so the 5th OEM “Mode” button doesn’t relay any signal to the unit.
Can I twist Key1 & 2 together or is that a bad idea?
My speakers now crackle when I turn on the car after installing my new head unit :/ (all my connections are soldered/shrink-tubed, and secure)

Looking at the circuit again it seems like the light green (SW1) and blue (SW2) wires are tied near the buttons, seemingly the same function, but it's unlikely. Is there a way you can check the voltage levels on those wires when the particular button is pressed? You may need to use the stock headunit to see the proper values. Otherwise, I don't know what will happen if you tie the blue wire together.

As for the crackle sounds, are they always heard, or only just starting up the vehicle?

Looks like I have some homework to do 🤙🏽

The crackle is only upon startup, even if the unit is left off.
