Good video. What's interesting is that only 5th gear is that easily accessible because it's under a cover on the end it the transmission. All the other gears are inside the case so the transmission must be removed and disassembled for any repairs on them.
Back when I worked on front wheel drive manual transmission cars that's how many foreign cars makers who offered either a 4-speed or 5-speed did it. The 4-speed models had a flat cover plate on the outer end of the transaxle. To make a 5-speed they simply added it on the outside end and used a larger cover. Cheap way to do it and easy to repair especially because 5th is most likely to fail since it gets used the most.
