Well, either way, when I through on the polycarbonate rings, they stopped nearly all the vibration I was getting on the highway, so they did something.

Depending on the year of the mustang, the hub size is likely different, so it will take some looking to find the correct ring, if you wanted to use them...
If you wanted to you could get something to fit but it doesn't have a machined lip to accept rings the way aftermarket wheels do. I have two sets of them and properly balanced they have no vibrations up to 160km/hr. Considering one set is so beat up they barely hold air that's a testiment to modern wheel balancers :) My aftermarket Sportmax wheels had a problem I chased for years until I finally found out it was a flaw in the tire, Michelin replaced it but at a prorated price which by that time saved me all of $30 on a new one :\

up till now, I'm entirely satisfied with these tires. Having AWD, an automatic transmission and a small engine makes it hard to make the tires spin, except in snow/sand. I have like 12 000 miles on the longtrails TA and I like em so far. I actually find them good in water, go figure  The rav was on winter tires when I bought it and since I got it during summer, I wanted to buy some nice 4 season tires for it. I swap em back for winter, we get alot of snow and ice over here. but now the nice thing is that I have 2 sets of wheels :D

I like em, they spice the rav a bit 8)
Man, I've got the same rims sitting in my garage waiting to be installed (except I chose to go up an inch to a 17" 8) ) They look a LOT better than I was expecting on a RAV, cant wait to get the tires so I can put them on.

Im also a firm believer in the longtrail. well, any BFG tire really, never had a problem with them. And performance vs. cost-wise, the longtrails are still some of the better tires ive used. Soon as they go on sale at the dealership, this will be the 3rd set ive had on the RAV.

The stud spacing on the wheel is commonly known as 5" on 4.5" ( Five on four and one half ) American Motors cars, Chrysler Corp, Dodge & Plymouth cars, Ford Motor Co, Ford & Mercury cars, Mustang & Cougar, Jeeps, Cherokee & Wranglers and many others have used and still do use this bolt pattern. A lot of tire shops have little books with this info that they will give you old copy of. Chilton & Motors Manuel's also have this info. Older wheels will give you more offset for a wider stance though you do need to take better care of your wheel bearing with a large offset. We have Mustang 17"x 10" wheels on our 99 RAV4
