I was considering doing the vinyl blackout on the chrome on the windows and thought that I might just put that money towards window deflectors. Any recommendations? Pictures would be great too.

I prefer the OEM defectors, have them on my '23 Prime, but not pics, had them on my '19 XLE Premium. I've had Weathertech in the past, OEM are better IMO.

The kit from AutoClover covers all of the silver trim but a small sliver down in the front corner, near the mirrors. Like 1/8" small, it's barely noticeable. Big plus is that it comes with a tiny piece for the rearmost window that gives a very complete look to the top of all windows, front to back.

Yep, have this set. Have held up fine. I added little tabs of black vinyl to the very front section that isn't covered. This part is just out of the photo below the mirror, etc. Note that they sit tight to the body. The gap between the glass and deflector is maybe 1/4 inch. I like the look. Many deflectors bow out and leave a gap of an inch or more between the glass and the deflector. For both parking in sun and driving, I get fine air flow.

I installed these on my previous RAV4. I don't have any pictures, but there are some on the Amazon listing. I got the smoke version which covered the chrome obove the windows. It included a small piece for behind the passenger door, which completed the look. There was a small amount of chrome visible down in front by the mirrors, and maybe a tiny bit at the edges of the door.

I had come from a Prius with the solar roof, where a solar panel would run the circulation fan to pull in outside air. This kept the car much cooler, just a but hotter than the outside air. I had hoped to leave the windows cracked when parked to get some circulation on the RAV4. I had never had the window deflectors before and didn't know what to expect. I didn't like the extra wind noise when driving, and I would usually forget to crack the windows when I parked; so a complete failure for my purpose.

My new RAV4, I got the windows tinted all the way around, and the panoramic roof too. The reduction in heat is amazing. I have decided not to put the window deflectors on this one. The new car is silver, and the chrome does not stand out as much. I'm leaving the window treatment and door handles alone, but I did blackout the emblems.

Nothing listed for my 2023 yet:

I've never had a set that didn't increase wind noise, or even whistle ever so slightly.

I haven't decide which brand to pick again. Might go with AVS lower profile one. Hot summers here in the south(even hot winters) so my rainguard deflected vented windows are cracked open 1/8-1/4 inch The window deflector is a must because of the regular thunderstorm downpours. Because I didn't care for 'noise', my ol' Highlander only uses the back door window deflectors, my Camry had right side only, and I have a VW with only a driver door only deflector. I basically just remove the ones that annoyed me, usually installing all 4 and tossing the worse offenders over a couple weeks of driving. Hate them but at least one is a must when its 100-110F outside and interior temps melt stuff onto the dash.

I have an update on the Autoclovers. My passenger side vents have now oxidation, the driver's side does not. My car is garaged in Florida but is parked outside some days. I do "wax" them with Turtle wax Hybrid Ceramic spray every few months. I purchased them about 15 months ago. I will use a very mild compound on them.
