I have had my new RAV4 for less than 6 months and already the windshield has cracked twice. I have a feeling these windshields are just made cheap or faulty. I had several cars in my life and never had to replace one due to a chip from something hitting it. Perhaps I’m just unlucky or these windshields are made like ?. Has anyone else experienced this as well?

On my 18th day of owning my brand new 2022 RAV4 XLE Premium (Blueprint color), My front windshield cracked and visible cut line extended all the way from crack to end of the windshield. I didn't hear anything while I was driving, I noticed it while I was getting ready to go home after work. I've been driving for over 48 years, this is only the second time I had to replace my windshield. I am bit concerned that this might be the continuing trend for this vehicle.
If you do some research I think there’s a class action in us. Just click Rav4 windshield class action

Does anyone know if there is a class action on the Canadian side? Mine broke on day 3 of ownership and I had to pay out of pocket for replacement
This ^^ yes is a big factor.
