2009 2.2 D4D 110 kW manual @ 210 tkm

We're having weird engine codes. We were running at 110 km/h towards local city on a freeway when the lights came up. This was after about 2 hours of driving on the same day.

We took her to local dealership, which, after clearing codes and changing alternator belt said it's about clogged DPF. They made some kind of purification run of 3 hours but after 100 km the problem persists.

Any suggestions, please, anyone?

The latest codes are: P1604, P2002, C1201, C1380, C1280, B1801, B1811.
JTMBC33V50D00872.

Do a Google of Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration. Seems that sometimes they can be reborn, but sometimes they need replacement. A faulty EGR system can cause problems with the DPF as well.

Or you can remove it entirely...wink-wink.

I bet Finland has yearly inspections and this car would fail and he would be fined heavily for tampering with ... national security ;)
Watch out for that drone!
I don't think they measure the particles on diesel engines, only some K (?) value or something. But they will check that there are no fault lights on the computer.

There are some additives on the market which I presume either brick the DPF or do absolutely nothing, and some kind of bath for DPF. I'll have to ask around.

On my 2010, I have gotten 30mpg on the highway. Reset the display, cruise on maybe 60mph.
Well, I Did just pay $900 just to diagnose my DPF problems. That buys a lot of gas.

On another note, the warnings have been away for a week now. I went next to a local highway, removed the battery cable to reset the warnings and then cruised some half an hour at 85 mph. There was a few good accelerations to the max but mainly just keeping the throttle constant.

I also got on offer of $700 for DPF bath from a local garage. The price includes resetting some DPF counter. Does anyone know if the reset is required?
