Searched the forum, but did not find any thread regarding a driver's seat creaking / squeaking. It happens when I shift my weight on the bottom seat cushion. I can reproduce the creaking sound when I push down on the seat cushion, more towards the side nearest to the driver door.
The noise goes away slightly if I move the whole seat a little forward or backward. I've also looked online to see how to take off the cushion, or at least the seat cover, just so I can take a look at the internal parts. I figure it's some not that needs tightening, or a joint that needs lubrication. Any insight on fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
