I debated between +20 and +40 too, was worried about anything rubbing once I eventual upsize the tires in the few years. But after seeing some of the other setups I've seen on this thread I think I still have a bit of wiggle room
I did it. I copy your set too!!! Thank you for doing the first step lol.

Fast Thunder 17x8 +20. On 225/65/17
(Also a hub-centric ring 60-72.6mm)

no rubbing on normal tires.

There’s no poke at all. I’m just hoping when I upgraded to the bigger 245/65 it will sit flusher.

Looks great, glad I could help!

A friend of mine pointed out once I got my new wheels that my rav looks very similar to the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
With the plastic trim, the pattern of the rims themselves, the headlights kind of. Just a bit boxier, which I prefer.
I notice the similarities way more on yours, probably because its red, I just associate jeeps with the colour red lol.
I've always been a big fan of the way the trailhawk's look, but would never buy one because I've heard nightmare stories about owning them.

regardless your setup looks great. If you beat me to upgrading the tire size, let me know!

Black Rhino Barstow 17x8 wheels
BF Goodrich all terrain 245/65/17

They are of course louder and heavier than the stock wheels/tires. Slight MPG drop but can still get 40+ mpg. Big difference on the trails. Biggest difference is knowing I won't get a flat. I put one of the stock wheels in the back as a spare. It fits no problem.

What's good guys, this is my first time entering the Yota community I've been a strict BMW/Lexus enthusiast for the longest but now things have changed.

Let's arrange our set ups by the following-

Brand: Vossen
Model: VSF2
Size: 22x9
Offset: 38
Comfort: 7/10

I have the XLE Premium, I do miss the ride of my 19s more but the look of these 22s makes up for it. I thought it was going to look horrible, I took a gamble buying em. But after I installed, I'm in love. Anyone who's hesitant to put 22s on their 2019 Rav4... dont be lol View attachment 145748
