Hi everyone, just picked up a XLE. Loving it!

I was wondering if we can use Corolla or Camry rims. Then add AT tires. They pretty much hhave the similar specs.
17 x 7.
5 x 114.3.
But they have a 40mm offset compared to my oem 35 offset.
I haven’t seen it done yet.
Would it be possible?

It is possible. The specs for the Adventure grade wheels is 19 x 7.5 with an offset of 40 Same lug specs. Toyota specs anywhere from 35, 39, and 40mm offsets across the whole model range. A 40 mm offset should be very doable, just watch your tire width for rubbing issues. If you are going with larger diameter and wider tires you will want less offset.

Gotcha. That’s good info. Thank you. I was gonna go with 245/65/17 like others have on stock 17 xle rims

It’s been a while since I’ve checked on the forum. But I’ve had this set now for almost 2,000 miles and love them. Wheels are black rhino stadium 16x8 -10 offset on toyo open country mt 245/75/16 and I absolutely love them. Warning though, they don’t fit without some major trimming or in my case, I have almost a 5” lift so I don’t experience any rubbing except for when I’m almost at full lock. If you like them, you can find more on my IG @stealthrav4 I also respond faster there too.

Have you done any light off roading with them? I thought it was probably going to be okay too, but on 17x7 the 245 is already above max suggested width (225). So I hedged a bit and did 235 as a compromise. Also 235s fit the existing set of chains I have 😅
do you think the snow chains with the 245s would rub? I still want the ability to use snowchains

First time buying aftermarket wheels/tires and being an idiot I ordered 225/65/17 instead of 245 because they weren’t in stock on the tires I wanted. Hugely regret it but oh well I’ll get better MPG. Will just wait for these to wear out then I’ll get a lift kit lol. Also got black rhino overland wheels which look amazing.

Any rubbing without the lift?

Just curious, what do y'all do with your stock wheels after you swap them? Do you just keep them stored in the garage or is there a viable market to sell them?
Always interested in getting new wheels, but don't have much space in the garage to just keep the stock ones.

I am using mine for my winter tires. If you don’t need them for that purpose you could try to sell them.

I tried selling mine without luck, but Inyo County just does not have enough people.
