Hi to all,

I bought winter tires 225/65/R17 with steel rims from Toyota dealership but they didn't put any center caps is this normal? To sell tires with rims but without center caps.
When I asked them they want to sell me with 200$ for all 4, I have bought from web at 50$ but they don't fit.
Not sure what I can do, can anyone advise please?
Is it ok to drive the car without center caps?
Thanks

Thanks Carbon for your quick reply!
Yes, they look the same.I bought caps for 17" rims but they don't fit, looks like the size diameter it is little bigger(where the steel ring is), not sure why, but even so I can not figure it out how these center caps will install on the center hole .
Anyway, two from the four received have different spring as in the picture, now I hope I can return them, I bought from e-bay.
How I can be sure if my steel rims are 17"?
If driving without caps is not affecting anything to the axle(geting rusty), I'm ok if only the bad thing is the exterior aspect.
Thanks

Those are for the alloy wheels. I ended up buying the wrong ones too. But at least the once I got are made for the 16" steel wheels. I just needed to trim a bit of the plastic on the outer edge with a dremel to fit the 17" steel.

Thanks Carbon!
Not quite sure if my rims are exactely like those in your picture(yours looks more nice), but I will upload a photo tomorow, now I was so upset because the caps I received don't fit and can't figure why.
Yes, I already read the link you sent and my rims looks exactely the ones in that picture.
Do you have any ideea why these caps don't fit, did you see the pictures why two have star spring instead of circular?
Because i don't want to make mistake again I may go with dust cover only.

My center cap has "PA66+GF30" molded in and "PACIFIC" as a brand logo.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw="PA66%2BGF30"+toyota turns up several caps-- some of which look like mine, and others with different emblems or colors.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw="PA66%2BGF30"+pacific also turns up some similar and some not. Some say they are for 16 inch wheels. My steel wheels are 17 inch.

Mine is all plastic. There is one plastic tab that grabs from the outside within each spoke/protrusion.

If it were me, I would probably go with 2006 2011 Toyota Rav 4 Silver Center Caps Set of 4 Hubcaps PA66 GF30 | eBay I don't know the seller, but it seems OK...

It is hard to measure a 5-pointed thing. From the outside I measure 3.39 inches from the tip of one spoke to the valley opposite.

The OD of the piece of the wheel that the hub teeth grab is about 2.56 inches, and the ID is about 60 mm if you choose to go with an aftermarket dust cover.

Thank you all, for spending time for responding me.
Jaspher you are right, I think mine are for the alloy, not steel rims.
Dr. Dyno thanks for all the informations regarding returning.
Also, thanks Carbon for the response.
I found this forum very useful and with friendly and helpful people.
Wish you all the best, thanks Danro!

I actually find that center caps somehow prevent the salt splashes from going in there. Best thing to do is spray the hub area with Rust Check Coat and Protect. Even with the center cap I still rust proof the area.
