New update on the toyota app removes the ability to read tire pressure all together. It's not included on the app, it doesn't matter what subscription you have. Called toyota to confirm and it looks like and oversight.
You might as well have been talking to Bozo the clown. Toyota's "help" line is a joke.New update on the toyota app removes the ability to read tire pressure all together. I got that one too it's pretty cool. The car should have come with it. Thank god it's only $30 bucks and 5 minutes to install.I got the CarTrimHome tire pressure indicator module (Free Shipping Smart Car TPMS Tyre Pressure Monitoring System Digital LCD Dash Board Display Auto Security Alarm for Toyota Rav4 2019 2020 2021(RAV4 LE Model [Not a hybrid version] Shows PSI, XLE / Limited / TRD / OTHER shows kpa)). Shows the tire pressure on the MID. Easy, plug and play, install. Only problem is it shows the pressure in kPa for all trim levels other than the LE. (Easy to mentally convert kPa to PSI -- divide by 7)
I'm guessing this update is currently limited to iPhone? My Android app is up to date and remains the same?
If so I guess it's just a matter of time for us. View attachment 180311
It's also a Stellantis...On a basic Jeep Compass you can check tire pressure while driving by toggling the buttons on the steering wheel and it will display it on the screen right in front of you. This is the way it should be for safety reasons. Let’s say you are driving on the freeway at night and it is cold and stormy and you get a low pressure alert. Is the pressure 1 PSI or 30 low? You need to know this to make the decision to pull to your the side of the busy freeway or keep going to a safe location.
You can also display engine coolant temperature, engine oil temperature and transmission temperature. The Compass also has a compass.
