Thanks for the advice!

So new to the Forum that I have not had a chance to research the "horn" issue. I agree the horn sound like it's from a child's toy car. Is there a simple solution to this problem without a wiring nightmare? There must be some real unique sound horns out there. But you are correct I believe this will be my very next modification! Just have to find out what is the best horns on the market! Thanks Larry

Larry, the horns are 'plug-n-play' - that's the easy part. Getting to 'em is the fun part. Look for the 'Beep beep no more' thread and you'll see what I mean.

Good luck with ur new RAV.

Owning the 2017 RAV4 and wanting to install the louder Camry horns, does anyone know what year Camry horns are plug and play? With that knowledge I can search several salvage yards and find me a set. Don't want to be cutting and soldering wires! My many thanks, Larry

Hello friends, my first post as I just joined this Forum about 15 minutes ago. I look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with many. I am twice retired, first from the United States Marine Corps then secondly from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office out of Maine where I was a patrol officer as well as a K9 officer. Relocated to NC after retirement. My first RAV4 as I have been a Chevrolet man for 50 years or more. I currently own a 1996 Impala SS that is just turning 8K miles. Over the years I have added many modifications such as a six speed transmission, 373 gears, LS engine setup and much more, all looking as if they were done by Chevrolet. The wife and I needed something more economical than our Denali, though we still wanted to maintain some class and comfort. We settled on the RAV4 XLE. On December 9th we purchased our RAV4 from Toyota of New Bern located in New Bern, NC. Color is Black Currant and was decently optioned with navigation, radar and other comfort items.

I found Toyota of New Bern very professional and fairly easy to deal with, Service Department is extremely professional.

Within the first week I added Weather Tec floor mats front and rear as well as the Weather Tec cargo mat. Added a trailer hitch, exterior color matched door spears, Toyota rear bumper protector, Toyota sill plates protectors, Toyota running boards and the Toyota Splash Guards. Oh, I forgot I also added the window vents and to date I have applied NINE coats of wax. Love the color!

Since December 9th we have already logged 1,300 miles and really enjoy the vehicle.

Again, my many thanks for all the advise that I am sure I am going to need in the near future.
